Grandmas House; Bristol UK’s finest and loudest. The four piece - previously
a trio - have been busy honing their grunge and post-punk influenced sound
since the release of last year’s riotous ‘Who I Am’ EP, the success of which
saw the band hand picked to work with fashion house Celine, as well as Dr
Martens, cult jewellery brand Tatty Devine and Fred Perry.
Citing influences that range from IDLES to Alexander McQueen and Francis
Bacon to Nirvana, The Breeders and Boygenius, Yasmin, Poppy, Zoe and
Polly are a genuinely unique proposition. Refusing to be pigeon holed, they
are here to shake up perceptions with their intelligent, stylish and raucous
take on rock music.
‘Having spent the last few years honing their craft, and developing their
skills in songwriting, the latest music is a real step up on the band’s
already incredible sound.’

'As per usual, Grandmas House have shown that they are a force to be
reckoned with.'

UPCOMING RELEASES

5-Track EP ‘Anything For You’ is due to be
released early 2025. The EP was written through a time where grief visited the band often, in every way; death, ending of relationships and missing life before illness. Instrumentally, this body of work displays the growth and maturity the members have gained over the last couple of years.
‘Screw It Up’ is the first single from the new EP, released on the 13th of November 2024 and
was written about trying everything to please a
partner in a relationship but ultimately feeling
like you’re never going to be good enough for
them. It’s a powerful rock anthem with catchy
guitar riffs with Yasmin’s raw powerful vocals
really shining on this track.
The upcoming EP is a huge step
forward for Grandmas House not only
lyrically but musically. Having a new
band member and two guitars adds a
completely new layer to their writing
as well as their live performances.
Their debut Album is well and truly in
the works and will display some of
their best, most intricate work yet.
This EP is an exciting, dynamic and
powerful sneak peak of whats to
come from Grandmas House.
